While working with Gage Marketing, I had the opportunity to define the mobile experience for Microsoft’s ExpertZone – a retail service professional training program.
Shifting the focus from the 10-question quizzes that Microsoft uses in the desktop version of ExpertZone, the team brought content to the forefront. In the above XBOX 360 example, we proposed a strict content schedule that highlighted and provided information on upcoming high-profile game releases. The rewards retail service professionals earned became more interwined with the consumption and retention of content rather than a simple pass/fail quiz.
The result was an award-winning mobile experience deployed across iOS, Windows Phone and Android.
